Mamaroneck, New York – Journey Interactive today proudly announces the release of Journey Creator 1.0 for iOS, an app that is both a creation tool and a viewer. It makes the creation of location-based apps accessible to anyone with an Apple smartphone or tablet and has, in fact, changed the way apps are made.

Journey Creator allows users to easily add entries and create custom location-based app. Through Journey Creator, users can add locations by importing images in their current photo library, selecting their current location, adding a new photo, entering an address or even placing pins on the map.

The true revolutionary nature of Journey Creator is its ability to take data and create an app that is then available on the App store. For a one time fee of $500, Journey Interactive will take the users’ data and make their app available on the Apple App Store. Additional packages are available to make the app accessible on the Google Play store for Android devices or even on the Web.

Journey Creator is perfect for a small town, chamber of commerce, or any individual searching for a way to showcase their various locations. Journey Creator is also the ideal product for architects seeking to publicize their designs. And, for any service company with a regular customer base, Journey Creator can provide easy access to multiple locations for all of its employees.

The Journey Creator app gives users maximum flexibility, allowing them to change the preset categories (and subcategories) as well as to organize and arrange their locations. Journey Creator also allows users to change the background color of their custom app. Additional customizations are available for a fee.

The App has an accompanying watch app that allows you to access locations on the watch. Users have the option of accessing all of the locations or just favorited locations.

Journey Creator represents the collaborative efforts of a unique team. The Chief Technology Officer and primary programmer of the app is Eytan Schulman, a 16-year-old Tel Aviv resident and two- time recipient of Apple’s prestigious Student Scholar Award. Eytan has developed over a dozen unique apps including Journey Interactive’s earlier location-based apps (including Journey Tel Aviv and Journey Washington DC, as well as an app on the world’s major cities and Jewish sites of Poland.) Eytan has been programming extensively for more than five years. Working together closely with Eytan on the concept and marketing-side is his father, Marc Schulman, who has been an Apple Developer since 1984.
