Fehraltorf, Switzerland – B-Eng today is proud to announce the release of Compare Anything 1.0, the company’s new productivity application for OS X. Compare Anything is a stand-alone utility that was designed specifically to compare files of any type. It comes with exactly what is needed to compare two files and check for them for differences. Files to compare can either be selected via the Finder or by entering directly the path in the corresponding entry line. Specifics of the two files are then listed in a split window, or – depending on the file type – shown with images where the differences are high-lighted.

“Sometimes it’s the simple things that make work easier, and sometimes as a developer you create these little things yourself,” explains Christian Schaffner, General Manager of B-Eng. “Compare Anything is one of these cases where we needed something, didn’t find what we really wanted. So we just made it ourselves. Compare Anything is one of the most powerful tools of its kind, yet still foolproof to use. We figured others could use such a simple yet powerful tool so we decided to make it available for everyone.”

System Requirements:
* OS X 10.10 or later
* 64-bit processor
* 18.4 MB

Pricing and Availability:
Compare Anything 1.0 is only $0.99 USD (or equivalent amount in other currencies) and available worldwide exclusively through the Mac App Store in the Productivity category. Promo codes are available to members of the press. For more information, please contact Christian Schaffner.
