Saint Petersburg, Russian Federation – Vitaliy Chepkov today is pleased to announce the release and immediate availability of Whiz Kid: Puzzles 1.0, its new puzzle game for iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch devices. Designed for kids 5 years and under, Whiz Kid: Puzzles features highly detailed, hand-drawn pictures that are divided into puzzles that children can solve.

There are three thematic groups of puzzles: Happy Farm, City Life, and Birthday. Each pack contains 6 different illustrations based on the theme. Children can choose to solve each puzzle at 4 different levels of difficulty, from simple to complex, to challenge themselves.

After selecting the difficulty level and the picture they would like to solve, kids are shown the illustration in black and white. Displayed on the right side of the screen in a slot are several colored pieces of the puzzle. The child must drag-and-drop the puzzle piece into the correct location upon the picture. Once the correct location is selected, the puzzle piece is set and another piece of the puzzle drops into the slot.

Most importantly, Whiz Kid: Puzzles can foster independent play and develop the child’s intelligence.

“We had three major goals when we were designing Whiz Kid: Puzzles 1.0,” explains Tanya Chepkova of Vitaliy Chepkov. “First, the game had to be simple enough so that a three-year-old child could easily master and play it alone. Second, the game had to be appealing enough to keep little ones engaged for some time. Finally, the game had to teach something or develop vital skills or abilities. Whiz Kid: Puzzles successfully meets our criteria on all levels. We also think parents will appreciate how Whiz Kid: Puzzles can be a fun activity that children can play by themselves.

She adds, “We are planning to add more pictures to each pack and to develop new visual effects in the updates. Additional packs are also in the works and will be coming soon. Whiz Kid: Puzzles is available for both iOS devices and Mac. Treat your child with a new colorful puzzle game that will keep them busy with fun tasks and bright pictures!”
