Ladera Ranch, California – FashionTEQ, a fashion-forward, wearable technology company, will debut its inaugural line of “smart jewelry”, the Zazzi collection, at the 2014 International CES in Las Vegas. The collection was envisioned by app entrepreneur Judy Tomlinson who wanted to offer a smart, stylish and adaptable jewelry line for women who love high-tech and high-fashion.

In conjunction with the unveiling at the FashionWare section of CES, Zazzi will be available for a 45-day limited time offer, beginning on January 6, via a crowdfunding campaign on Dragon Innovation. Prices range from an early bird cuff special of $119 to $249 for the entire collection. The smart jewelry is available for purchase at Dragon Innovation.

“The Zazzi smart jewelry collection will help women stay connected, and not miss very important moments,” said Tomlinson. “This is a solution to mobile manners, leaving your phone in your purse so that you can enjoy face to face meetings with loved ones, friends or business clients.”

Available as a cocktail ring, convertible pendant, or a cuff to be worn as a necklace or bracelet, the collection features the unique Zazzi Gem “smart” piece that can slide and snap into place. This smart technology offers a discreet way for women to stay connected to their smart phone through vibrations or by seeing a customized avatar or Z-image, displayed on the jewelry. The “smart jewelry” allows users to leave their phone inside their purse, bag or back pocket, fitting any lifestyle and occasion.

Zazzi’s wearable technology allows users to:
* Control how the Z-image changes with notifications through the Zazzi app
* Create a VIP call list of Z-images for “the babysitter”, “spouse”
* Choose which alerts to appear through the Zazzi display
* Graphic sharing, show what Z-image you are wearing on Facebook, by posting your Z-image and status updates, through the Zazzi app directly to your Facebook page
* It will also alert you when it senses that you are too far from your smart phone

The Zazzi Gem is available in three colors: sterling, onyx and white.

FashionTEQ is a smart jewelry company based in Orange County, California, with a vision to bring women, technology and fashion together. FashionTEQ’s wearable technology, the Zazzi, comes as a ring, pendant necklace, and cuff. FashionTEQ’s co-founder and CEO Judy Tomlinson had a vision of integrating technology into women’s lives, keeping them connected to each other, their friends, and families, and making daily life easier, and more stylish! Inspired by other wearable technology, and noting the lack of stylish, fashionable wearable tech, Tomlinson began designing the Zazzi with her team of engineers in early 2013. Prior to FashionTEQ, Tomlinson created and led Avocsoft’s “My Weekly Budget” to the number one spot in the iTunes app store finance section.
