Riga, Latvia – Intelligent Design SIA, a small studio located in Europe, today is pleased to announce the release of Live Running Simulator 1.0, its unique mobile application for iOS and Android devices. Live Running Simulator enables runners to race against other runners from various parts of the world, in real-time. The app optimizes technologies such as GPS and augmented reality to give runners an option to compete either with the CPU or with other runners, in different race categories (such as 400m, 800m, 1,500m and so on).

Live Running Simulator offers several other features that make it interesting and convenient for the users. For instance, the audio updates notify users about change in position and approaching opponents during a race. Users can select individual, single or tournament run modes and also opt for difficulty levels. There is also an option of watching highlight replays and a possibility to examine a graph of changed positions.

To make the user experience even more realistic, the app allows runners to create personalized 3D avatars. An avatar will run at the same speed as the user in the real world. The app serves to aid to several joggers and marathon runners who can now look forward to watching their personalized avatars running against avatars of other runners from across the world:

* Race with other runners on a real-time basis, or with the CPU
