Porto, Portugal – The myTuner Radio team is proud to announce the release of myTuner Radio 4.2.2, an important update to their premium mobile and desktop radio streaming app for iOS, Android, Windows Phone, Mac and Windows. myTuner Radio was launched today as a universal app for the new Apple TV! myTuner Radio team is extremely proud to, once again, be among the first movers when it comes to new technology. myTuner Radio was there since the first day that the Apple Watch was launched and it’s once again here at day one of Apple TV. Users can listen to 30,000 radio stations, 1 million podcasts and much more for free.
Since it’s a universal app, users that own the free myTuner Radio app for iOS can download myTuner Radio for Apple TV also for free. The new app will appear on the purchases menu on the Apple Store of your Apple TV. Users that don’t have myTuner radio yet, can simply type the word “radio” on their Apple TV’s search menu to download myTuner Radio and be amazed by the vast selection of radio stations that our mobile and desktop users are already enjoying. Again, since it’s a universal app, these users can also download the myTuner Radio app on their iPhones and iPads.
The myTuner Radio version for Apple TV is very similar to the iOS version, as well as the Mac or Windows versions. Users will have access to live streaming of 30,000 radio stations, 1 million podcasts and to the top chart songs (30 seconds iTunes preview). But, there’s more to it, we have also added a new special “bonus” to treat our TV users: The top videos chart (also a 30 second iTunes preview).
