Pfaeffikon, Switzerland – Power APP today is proud to announce the release of Air Camera 2.0.0, a major update to their popular streaming app developed for iPhone, iPad and iPod touch devices. Air Camera allows streaming from the camera of an iOS device to AppleTV, recording this stream and adding effects while it is being played.
Version 2.0.0 now supports the new iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 plus. Full screen rotation is now possible, and the effects section has been extended. All effects can be added to the stream in real time while it is played in AppleTV. While the app offers the possibility to record the stream, the changes made are being recorded as well.
The possible manipulation of the stream include Bloom FX and 3D, while 3D offers two different modes: cyan/red with matching glasses or side by side. The recording mode offers 3 different modes: HD, VGA and normal, which extends to possibilities to re-use the stream at a later time.

“We have been nagged by customers for landscape support, and the possibility to record the live stream in various resolution. We wanted to add additional features anyway, which was reason to rebuild the whole app from scratch. This allowed us to take full advantage of the new developer kit from Apple. The App is now faster, more stable and offers what customers have most: different resolution for the recordings and full landscape support. New real time effects like the very popular Bloom FX and 3D are things we had planned anyway” explains Christian Schaffner, General Manager of Power APP.
