Permaisuri, Malaysia – Independent developer Wan Ahmad Lutfi today is proud to announce the release of QuartzCode 1.2, an important update to his powerful code generation tool for OS X. QuartzCode is a lightweight and powerful animation tool that turns vector drawing and animation into Objective C and Swift code, bridging the gap between developer, designer and animator.

Version 1.2 introduced new unified timeline panel, which now show animations from all layers, instead of only one layer. This makes managing animations become much easier. Duration of the animations can be changed simply by changing main timeline duration. The new panel also display preview of keyframe value for few select properties such as opacity, hidden, fill colour, and gradient.

Another improvement in version 1.2 is better masking support. Editing mask has been improved so to work similar to moving/resizing any other children layer. On top of that, inverse mask now can be used. This version also updated to support newly released Swift 1.2 by Apple.

“With unified timeline panel and keyframe preview, managing animations has become much better. This will certainly helps developer, designer and animator to improve their productivity using QuartzCode” explains developer Wan Ahmad Lutfi.
