To get started, users create a profile on room.me and fill out a questionnaire about their lifestyle and living preferences. The user is then asked to rank the importance of each question and select “Deal Breakers” to indicate anything that is unacceptable to him/her. For example, the answer to “Do you have a cat?” could be a Deal Breaker for a person with an allergy. This action eliminates any “roomie wannabes” who have chosen this answer.
