Teleprompter promises an easy and free script prompter for professional and flawless communication with an audience. The update will allow iPhone users to use their Apple Watch to remotely control the teleprompter, including scroll speed, pause, play and text size remotely from their wrist. Teleprompter can also communicate with other iOS devices via Bluetooth & WiFi, meaning Apple Watch users will be able to remotely control multiple devices at once.
Apple Watch compatibility will be available in both versions of the app: Teleprompter Lite and Teleprompter Premium on April 24th 2015, coinciding with Apple Watch.
The focus of Teleprompter is to bring users an easily adjustable script with fluid text rotation and quality screen projection. Presenters can use their iPad or iPhone as a scrolling cue card or take a more professional approach by using the ‘Mirror Mode’ and rigging the Teleprompter beneath a video lens. This magnified 2D script display leaves the presenter focused on the lens, instead of looking for a cue card and squinting to read the words. The script can be adjusted to reflect a portrait or landscape orientation.
