San Diego, California – Gamelarious today is proud to announce the release of Videocraft 4.0, the important update to their complete multi-track video editor, photo story and movie maker app for iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch devices. Videocraft includes all the features anyone needs to combine video clips and photos with songs, sound effects, voice recordings, images, and text. This app’s beautiful and simple design allows users to create and share amazing videos in minutes.

Videocraft offers a complete multi-track video editor and movie maker in one easy to use, complete app offering the ability to create any format video, including square (1:1), standard (4:3), or widescreen (16:9) video projects, allowing anyone to create and share videos in full HD resolution in a matter of minutes.

Video clips can be trimmed to play just the section users want, video clips and photos can be panned, zoomed, and cropped, the volume of clips can be adjusted or muted, fade in/fade out and crossfade features ensure smooth transitions between scenes, and beautiful photo stories can be easily assembled using the popular “Ken Burns effect” for photo shows.

In addition to including photos, users can save custom watermarks, borders and overlays to the camera roll for use in videos. Text can be combined with images to create callouts. Or text can be used alone to lay on top of video for explanatory text or captioning.

Videocraft’s full featured video editing capabilities allow users adjust the speed of video by speeding up the action, or slowing it down with 7 speed levels. Long videos can be converted to stop motions videos, and multiple photos can also be imported to create stop motion movies. Video can be overlaid and positioned at will, creating B-Roll and Picture-in-Picture effects.

“We knew we wanted to make video editing as simple as possible for the average user, while still allowing them to produce a professional-looking final result,” says Gamelarious co-founder Mauricio Eastmond. ” With Videocraft 4.0, we believe we have brought professional, yet simple-to-use tools to the consumer level, making it easier than ever to have fun creating great looking videos.”

Videocraft’s great features don’t stop at video editing, as the app’s sound editing features allows users to add another dimension to their videos. Budding video artists can extract music from music videos to use in their own projects. Videocraft allows playing the audio of a video before the video is displayed, enabling users to create smooth transitions in their videos.

As well as songs, sound effects can be added from the included sound effects library that includes 120 sound effects, including beeps, human noises, animals, ambiences, cartoon, comical, vehicles, weapons, explosions and more. Narration can be recorded and added to videos, allowing for professional results for documentary style videos. Volume levels can be adjusted for each audio track, with the option to mute the main video track while a song, sound effect, or voice track is playing. Audio tracks can also be made to fade in/fade out for smooth transitions.

Once budding video auteurs have their videos, photos, and sound in place, Videocraft’s easy-to-use editing tools allows quick and precise editing of the video. Tracks can quickly be added to the timeline, and each video and audio track is represented by a bar in the timeline. Track options are accessed by simply tapping an icon on the left of the timeline, and each bar can be dragged to change or reorder its position. Bars can be duplicated for re-use, and the timeline can be zoomed in and out with a simple pinch of the fingers. A handy undo/redo option makes it easy for editors to change their mind whenever they like.

New Features in Version 4.0:
* Support for full 1080p HD resolution in addition to 720p HD
* Create a project by selecting multiple videos and photos from your library
* Give life to photos with Ken Burns effects
* Convert long videos to stop motion videos

Once a video project is perfect, it can be saved in the gallery, and can be exported as a finished video to the iOS device’s Camera Roll and shared with friends and family via social networks like Facebook, YouTube and Instagram. Projects can also be picked up and fine tuned at any time, or users can duplicate and make copies of their projects to try new and different video techniques.

“Our aim was to make video editing simple, yet give professional-looking results from a video editing app on an iOS device, be it an iPhone or an iPad,” shares Gamelarious co-founder, Nicholas Eastmond. “The latest version of Videocraft is the ultimate result of that effort.”
