Nootdorp, South Holland – Vella Games B.V., a mobile game developer, today is proud to announce the launch of Emoji Match 4 on the Apple App Store. Emoji Match 4 is a spin on the popular ‘match’ puzzle genre. The chosen emoji characters are among the most used emojis worldwide. Users are challenged to match 4 or more emojis, while at the same time, trying to avoid matching 3 emojis because that will cost points.
In every level users can use-up a certain amount of ‘moves’ to match 4 or more of a specific emoji. Also, users will need to reach a set amount of points to successfully finish a level. As a bonus, users earn ‘thumbs up’ by beating levels, they can use these thumbs to mix-up the playing board when they are stuck. There are over 100 challenging levels to beat, more will be added in the future. Users can play alone or compete with users from all over the world via Facebook.
Since its founding in 2016 the Dutch mobile app developer Vella Games has released over 100 apps, most of them with emojis as a core theme. Many of its apps have been featured by Apple and generated hundreds of thousands of downloads from all over the world. The founders of Vella Games kept on wondering why there are no well-known puzzle games featuring emojis as a core theme, given the popularity of emojis. They quickly got the idea to develop one themselves, resulting in Emoji Match 4.

To celebrate the release of Emoji Match 4, Vella Games has created a free iMessage Sticker Pack (iOS 10 ) featuring the core characters of the game.
