Edmonton, Canada – Pyxwise Software’s new phonics application “Spellyfish Phonics – Short I Words” is now available on the App Store. Spellyfish helps children to learn and recognize both the lower case and upper case letters of the alphabet. He/she will learn about the starting sounds of words and how similar ending sounds can make words rhyme with each other. In addition, Spellyfish teaches the critical phonological and phonemic awareness skills that children need for obtaining literacy in both reading and spelling.
Designed with classrooms and families in mind, Spellyfish supports up to 40 user accounts. Each user’s settings can be customized to the student’s individual needs. Student progress is automatically tracked, and the easy creation and emailing of reports is also supported.
