Richmond, Virginia – North South 804 Apps LLC is proud to announce the launch of their Kickstarter campaign where they aim to revive the Lemmings community with a new fresh customized Open Source platform for all to use to Develop their own versions of Lemmings. The goal is to take an existing engine and re-work it to fit the mechanics of Lemmings style games. A very popular genre. Once this is perfected they will publish the code to GitHub for the community to use.

When asked North South 804 Apps LLC’s President Nick Jones stated, ” I personally love Lemmings played it all the time when I was a kid growing up, I started searching one day for a suitable Mobile version and could not find one. So, we decided to make our own. In doing so we learned there is no platform currently that works well with the mechanics of a Lemmings type game. That is why we are creating a custom engine and allowing the community to feed the game and genre.”
