Devon, United Kingdom – Indie app developer Rory Buckley today is thrilled to announce the release of a major update to Fireplace HD+, the popular virtual fireplace app. Version 2.0 boasts a much improved user interface, a major audio upgrade and many other visual enhancements, Twitter integration and performance improvements.
The most noticeable improvement comes in the way the app navigates between fireplace scenes. The app now makes full use of swipe gestures with a simple swipe left or right control option to allow the user to select their chosen fireplace scenes. The audio options for the app have also had lots of attention, with focus being put into giving the user more control over the radio stations that they can choose to play along with their fireplace scenes. This resulted in a custom built radio search engine that allows the user to search for radio stations that regularly feature an artist name or song name that the user will enter in the search field, once the request has been sent the app will return a relevant radio station that will aim to match the music style that the user is seeking.
Other additions and improvements see a Twitter sharing option that allows the user to brag about their musical fireplace, not forgetting many other minor bug bug fixes and performance enhancements.
Rory Buckley was over overwhelmed with the response and success of Fireplace HD+ over the Fall and Winter months in 2012. Although some may say that such a novelty app would only have limited potential, he truly believes that the best success of Fireplace HD+ is yet to come and has very high hopes for the next few months.
