Berg, Germany – The music and audiobook publisher andante media HRARCHIV today is pleased to announce the release of “ClassiCal-Musiccalendar – every day a new piece of music” 1.0.1, its first international version of the iOS app for iPhone and iPod touch. “ClassiCal” was successfully released in Germany, Austria and Switzerland one week ago. ClassiCal provides access to the enormous music archive of one of the largest independent rights owners within the German-speaking area. The archive includes classical music recordings from more than 40 years of music history from the 20th century.
Well-known and established European orchestras, distinguished soloists, ensembles and conductors as well as international award winners take listeners on a comprehensive journey through the world of classical music. From the must haves to very rare recordings, ClassiCal presents true pearls of classical music 365 days of the year. The daily view of the calendar currently contains the anniversaries of the births and deaths of over 400 composers from more than 25 countries and will be permanently extended.
