A simple text editor with tools focused on making your writing better. Phraseology 1.0 reached the top 15 in the iPad paid charts on it’s initial release in December, 2011 – and has been featured on The New Yorker, Macworld and many other outlets. Phraseology 2.0 brings the app up to date with the latest technologies in iOS 7, while adding some great new features.
Phraseology distinguishes itself from other iPad text editor with unique “Arrange” and “Inspect” features. The Arrange feature allows drag and drop re-ordering of paragraphs and sentences, and the “Inspect” feature provides detailed statistics (word/sentence counts, average syllables per word, word per sentence, etc.), common readability and grade level scoring, and part of speech/root word breakdowns of word usage.
Phraseology 2.0 expands these tools with live as-you-type syntax highlighting of parts of speech, along with many other new features including iCloud sync, restorable, Dropbox-based version histories for documents, and great integration with other iOS apps through URL schemes.
