Philadelphia, Pennsylvania – Cotton Notes is releasing version 3.2 today for iOS adding support for IOS’s first third-party keyboard, Fleksy. Fleksy gives users a choice on the keyboard they use within Cotton Notes, providing unparalleled autocorrection abilities, the ability to theme the keyboard, and more.
Cotton Notes is one of the leading outliners for iOS, offering a simple user interface but a set of very powerful tools for more advanced users. Cotton Notes stores your notes, lists, and thoughts in an outline format, allowing you to attach almost anything to each note including: due dates, tags, metadata, pictures, sketches, files, geolocations, and more. Users can then “focus” or “hoist” into a particular branch of the outline to see an overview of the notes within that branch.
Cotton Notes features a powerful search engine which has been massively improved in version 3.2. Users are able to search for any metadata within Cotton, order results, specify ranges, and AND, NOT or OR terms. Search is instantaneous and takes into account which part of the outline you are currently focused on.
Cotton Notes was built from the ground up to work offline, so you never need to worry about having a signal to access your notes. If you do have an internet connection; however, Cotton Notes will allow the user to sync with Dropbox. Dropbox syncing allows Cotton Notes for iPhone, iPad and Chrome to stay in sync.
Cotton Notes 3.2 is available now for both iPhone and iPad for $4.99, with no in-app purchases or monthly fees. Cotton Notes for Chrome is currently in beta and can be found in the Chrome Web Store.
