Toronto, Canada – MTA, Inc. has released Tact, its new iOS app that lets users call, e-mail, message, or open and manage their contacts directly from an iPhone’s Home Screen.
Through a powerful and easy-to-use interface, Tact allows users to pick a contact from their Address Book and add it directly to the Home Screen of their iPhone, where it appears as a standalone app. Tapping on the resulting icon immediately displays the contact’s up-to-date information, and makes it easy to initiate phone calls, send e-mails, or even map related addresses.
Optionally, users can also associated actions like “Call Home” or “E-mail Work” directly with a contact, so that tapping the corresponding Home Screen icon automatically executes the command associated with it. Unlimited icons can be created this way for every contact; Tact automatically ensures that the most up-to-date information about each contact is used when executing an action.
Every aspect of a contact icon can be customized, including its background colour, title, and image. Tact even allows users to pick from a range of shapes like hearts, stars, and circles for a unique look that makes finding the right contact on their Home Screen easy and immediate.
