Klaipeda, Lithuania – A story-focused casual strategy game from the creator of Roads of Rome and Northern Tale series hits the Apple App Store today. Viking Saga tells a legend of a once-mighty king Arnar and his son Ingolf. Arnar wants to free himself from a curse caused by a magic ring. He sends his youngest son Ingolf to deliver the ring to an evil dwarf who cursed its owner many years ago when Arnar refused to sell it to him. His father’s quest takes Ingolf on a journey through the beautiful northern landscapes. Every level of the game is full of obstacles to overcome and vistas to gaze at. Together with Ingolf players will travel to the far off lands, make friends with their inhabitants, and search for the wise Druid who might be able to save king Arnar from the curse.
The goal of each stage is to progress through the level by assigning your workers with various tasks and collecting important resources needed to repair buildings and roads or remove obstacles. Through the course of the game players will visit 47 unique stages. Each of them has something new about it. Weather it is an object to interact with, an animal to encounter or an NPC to help; there is always something new around every corner of Viking Saga. The story of the game is told in fully-voiced cutscenes illustrated by the artfully drawn comics.
