Stockholm, Sweden – It’s one thing to clean a dirty hippopotamus – but even more difficult when the showers are dysfunctional. That is the concept behind Wombi’s new virtual board game, “Hippo Shower Time!”. In this simple game for ages 3 and up, players activate various showerheads that spray water on a dirty hippo. However, every so often the showerheads spray cold water that surprises the hippo so much it jumps and splatters back into the mud. Players are kept at the edges of their seats as they take turns tapping the showerheads and hoping they don’t get the one that sprays cold water.

This virtual board game can be played socially or solitarily. Parents can have fun taking turns with their children in “Hippo Shower Time!”, which can entertain an unlimited amount of people in a group. Players enjoy the suspense of the game and the comical illustrations that accompany it. The dirty hippo is a unique character, sporting bifocals, an anchor tattoo, and a gold chain. All the while throughout his bathing, flies dance around his head. It’s accessible and easy for kids ages 3 and up to play.
