WikiPlaces provides access to Wikimapia – a collaborative mapping project with the aim to describe every location in the world. It currently has over 20 million places annotated all over the world, many of which are also with detailed descriptions, photos and user comments. You will be amazed how much interesting and surprising you will find out about places you seemed to know.

Version 3.5 brings new cleaner and brighter look to match the style of iOS 7, support for manual map rotation and bug fixes.

The recent major update, version 3.0 has also introduced the following features:
* Full support for viewing photos and comments
* Option to follow user location with map movement and rotation
* Option to use your own Wikimapia API key to avoid any possible usage limits of default shared key
