Revere, Massachusetts – Indie developer James Hollender is formally announcing the introduction of App Bundles for a variety of his apps including those from the Life Inventory and iNutrient groups. Available starting with iOS 8 are App Bundles, where groups of apps are sold at a discounted price. In instances where users have already made one or more purchases from an App Bundle, they can acquire the rest of the bundle for the difference in price. This often means the user can get apps free or at a greatly reduced cost.
Here are the 5 current App Bundles being offered by James Hollender:
1. “Life Inventory for iPhone Extras” App Bundle:
Get both the main Life Inventory app (specifically for iPhone and iPod Touch) along with the Lite version a supplement, which provides a sample Life Inventory you can experiment with that can be restored to its original content, so there’s no fear of making a mistake that can’t be undone.
You also get EZeeCalc, a great innovative calculator, that allows for undoing and redoing throughout both sides of a calculation, something no other calculator app provides; and to top it off you also get an app that makes it easy to share information about bargains you’ve found with friends.
2. “Life Inventory for iPad plus iNutrients” App Bundle:
Get both the main Life Inventory app (specifically for iPad) along with the Lite version a supplement, which provides a sample Life Inventory you can experiment with that can be restored to its original content, so there’s no fear of making a mistake that can’t be undone.
You also get the iNutrients app, which allows you to quickly get information for nutrient content of food servings for ten nutrients: Calories, Carbohydrates, Cholesterol, Fiber, Potassium, Proteins, Saturated Fat, Sodium, Sugars, and Vitamin K; plus you can create your own custom food definitions.
3. “Life Inventory plus iNutrients” App Bundle:
Get both the main Life Inventory app (specifically for iPhone and iPod Touch) along with the Lite version a supplement, which provides a sample Life Inventory you can experiment with that can be restored to its original content, so there’s no fear of making a mistake that can’t be undone.
4. “Most Popular iNutrient Apps” App Bundle:
A collection of five of the most popular iNutrient apps covering Carbohydrates, Cholesterol, Proteins, Sodium and Potassium. Each also includes data concerning Calories.
This collection would be good if you’re only interested in looking up the values in foods and don’t need to collect the information based on your food intake.
If, on the other hand, you’re interested in recording information about your food intake and keeping track of your daily intake, consider the single “iNutrients” app, which covers the exact same nutrients plus Fiber, Sugars, Saturated Fat, and Vitamin K. Entering the information for a particular food intake automatically records the information for all ten nutrients. Only the iNutrients app also allows you to add your own custom food definitions.
5. “All iNutrient Apps” App Bundle:
All 10 of the individual iNutrient Apps covering Calories, Carbohydrates, Cholesterol, Fiber, Potassium, Proteins, Saturated Fat, Sodium, Sugars & Vitamin K.
This collection would be good if you’re only interested in looking up the values in foods and don’t need to collect the information based on your food intake.
If, on the other hand, you’re interested in recording information about your food intake and keeping track of your daily intake, consider the single “iNutrients” app, which covers the exact same ten nutrients. Entering the information for a particular food intake automatically records the information for all ten nutrients. Only the iNutrients app also allows you to add your own custom food definitions.
Please note that for some reason the iNutrient App Bundles were still not showing up in the iTunes App Store for some reason even though Apple indicated they were Ready for Sale last week. An inquiry has been sent to Apple to resolve this situation. If one of these two App Bundles are ones you are interested in, rest assured they will eventually show up in the iTunes App Store.
