Belize City, Belize – The free iPhone/iPod touch app Remotie for controlling the Samsung Smart TV has been downloaded more than 100,000 times in two months. The Kraftwerk 9 iOS remote is most popular with American Samsung hardware owners – they provided more than every second download.
The updated version of Remotie 1.0.1 appeared in the App Store on September 12. The new release featured improved function of the Smart TV menu navigational buttons, Smart Hub browser touchpad, and general app stability. This resulted in higher rating, lots of positive feedback and rank 70 in Top Free US-Utilities.

Text input limitations:
Text input is only available in the Smart Hub apps which support Samsung keyboard. The keyboard will appear on mobile device screen automatically after you activate the input field on your TV/BD-Ray screen. Some services, like Netflix, YouTube and others, have their own keyboards and are not supported by Remotie.
