Frankfurt, Germany – Eltima Software presents a new version of its Elmedia Player. Eltima’s popular media player for Mac has been substantially improved. Absolutely new UI makes the download and playback experience more enjoyable. Online videos can be played directly from the app without opening a browser window. YouTube videos can be downloaded in multiple formats and resolutions, and you can choose to extract only audio files. There is support for subtitles and multiple audio tracks during playback, and no need to install any additional plug-ins to playback a video.

Elmedia Player is available as Free and Pro versions. Free version supports almost all video formats, offers a number of convenient playback options and controls, does not require installation of any additional plugins, supports subtitles and multiple audio tracks during playback, allows online videos playback directly from the app, has Float on top option to keep the player window in front of other running apps, enables watching video full-screen and more.

PRO version is available for a reasonable fee and allows downloading online videos, including videos streamed over RTMP, along with the required external resources. The app allows downloading YouTube videos in multiple formats and resolutions, and gives you an option to extract from YouTube videos only audio track. With PRO version you can capture still frames and create a series of snapshots from videos, convert Flash Projector (EXE) files into SWF animations right on your Mac.
