Dhaka, Bangladesh – iThinkdiff today is proud to announce the release of German Dictionary 9.0, an update to their popular bilingual dictionary app for iOS devices. With German Dictionary, users can search both German and English words. This dictionary features a large database for English and German words. Version 9.0 specially redesigned for iOS 7 running devices. In this version user interaction, flash card and word of the day feature also updated.

The leading iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch dictionary for bi-directional translation between English and German now extremly works well in iOS 7. Lead programmer Mahmud Ahsan said, “Now the dictionary is completely redesigned for iOS 7 and also iOS 6 running devices, both students and travelers can use German Dictionary to translate nearly anything from German into English or vice versa. Over 120 million people speak German, and it is my hope that this dictionary will make communication between German speakers and English speakers easier than ever before.”

The new interface for iOS 7 running devices made it easy to use the core functionality. It is trivially easy to look up written German words and find their English translations. “Wikipedia lists German script as one of the most popular writing systems in the world,” continues Mr. Ahsan, “so it was important for us to help users look up words quickly without having to transliterate them into Latin [English] characters first.”

The new version continues to include popular features from previous versions:
* Over 76,000 English and 90,000 German words in an offline dictionary
* A phrase translator which can translate phrases and sentences from English to German and from German to English
* Pronunciation of English & German word help students and travelers say words correctly
* Word bookmarks to help users quickly return to important words they know they will need again
* Flash Card, Word of the Day, Single and Multi player games to make the study fun

And, at only $4.99 in the App Store, it’s cheaper than either a paperback phrase book or even the simplest study guide. A free version with in-app purchase options is also available.” said Mr. Ahsan.

German Dictionary’s core translation function works offline. But when the user’s device is online, several extra features become available, such as an online scoring system which helps students earn Achievements for using app features, plus a vocabulary Leaderboard which rewards the most effective students.
