Paris, France – Edoki, formerly know as Les Trois Elles, has been disrupting education with content-rich and aesthetic award-winning apps based on the world famous Montessori Method since 2010. This rebranding comes at a time when the company is considered a global player on the educational app market. “3 years ago France was our biggest market. Now that our apps are available in 15 languages, we sell more than 80% outside France and we want our name to reflect this reality” says Valerie Touze, co-founder.

As experienced Montessori teachers, Edoki’s founders want to ensure that children understand concepts rather than learn by heart. These 3 women believe that mobile technology is the revolution that will allow real adaptive learning in schools and at home. “We add just the right amount of fun to increase motivation” continues Valerie.

Edoki’s catalog boasts 11 award-winning educational apps. Some have become “must-haves” like Montessori Numberland and Montessori Letter Sounds to learn numbers and phonics. A more recent app like Montessori Math City was acclaimed by the teaching community as being a wonderful way to learn to count to a thousand.

As good news rarely travels alone, the firm is also announcing a brand new website and blog. The new website, just like a Montessori teacher, guides parents and teachers towards the information they are looking for seamlessly. For instance, in the “our apps” section, a filter allows the user to narrow down which of Edoki’s apps correspond specifically to their child, based on language, age and category.

The blog’s first post explains a little more why Les Trois Elles decided to rebrand and how they chose Edoki and the logo. Future articles will include interviews of other educating “disruptors”, Montessori materials and activities to do at home as well as a “what’s new” section.

The change from Les Trois Elles to Edoki will happen gradually and the founders have decided to go for a transition period using “Edoki by Les trois elles” until the summer of 2015. Throughout the coming weeks, look out for their new app icons on the App Store, on Google Play and on Amazon. For more information, visit Edoki online.
