Phoenix, Arizona – ArchSquare has jumped into the Apple Watch App Store with the first game utilizing the latest Apple WatchKit SDK (Software Development Kit) to leverage the power of the accompanying iPhone to create engaging animations in this simple yet challenging game.

“The 2048 puzzle game is our first of many apps we are working on. We are investing our best teams of designers, usability engineers, and developers to move aggressively into the wearable gaming platform that Apple Watch provides and want to be the leader in this casual gaming space,” said Henry Ton, CEO of ArchSquare. “By extending the user’s experience of the game through the watch, the player engagement and enjoyment is different through the unique interface. We are planning multiple casual games to be available on the launch day of the Apple Watch.”

To play the game on the watch interface, the player simply tap the watch screen to slide tiles right, left, up, or down. If two tiles of the same number touch, they will merge into a tile with the added value of the two numbers. After every turn, a new tile will randomly appear in an empty spot on the board. If a user is able to create a tile with the value of 2048, the game is won.
