Rocklin, California – Word Search Transformed! Players manipulate a 3-D cube floating in mid air looking for words that can wrap and twist around the sides of the cube. Move the cube up, down, 180 degrees to the left, 90 degrees to the right, there’s nothing like it. Word Cubed is highly addictive because its rotating 3 dimensional cube challenges players to quickly discover words.

Find the word, score points. Once you find them all there’s one more hurdle to clear; you must discover a special ‘hidden’ word to win the game.

Word Cubed was developed by Andy Kiger, a retired U.S. Army Lieutenant Colonel with over 23 years of active service to include an operational deployment in the Philippines and two combat tours in Iraq. Says Kiger, “I’ve been a big fan of word games my entire life and wanted to use the technology to transform the most basic of word games into something new and exciting, a 3-D Word Cube to stimulate the mind and expand the boundaries of player thinking.”

Kiger created 110 word lists to be “both challenging and vocabulary enriching.” Word Cubed dares players to search for and discover select words. Players can choose from 76 themed or 34 category word lists drawn from a 150,000 internal word store (US English). Five puzzles campaigns are provided ranging from 10 to 30 games each allowing extended play and increased difficulty. Scores are posted to Game Center where players can challenge friends to beat them. Word definitions are also provided through the iOS dictionaries to help improve vocabulary.
