Swansea, United Kingdom – Feeder 3.0 by Reinvented Software is available today. Feeder is a versatile RSS editor for creating news feeds, iTunes podcasts and appcasts. Version 3.0 sports a brand new look for OS X Yosemite, Markdown editing, autosave and a global search and replace for links. Feeder’s library can now be shared with cloud services such as iCloud Drive and Dropbox.

Feeder makes working with RSS as straightforward as writing email and is packed with thoughtful features such as templates, previews, HTML editing and auto-completion. For podcasters, Feeder includes full support for the iTunes RSS podcasting extensions, drag and drop episode creation, an iTunes Store preview and the ability to tag all popular podcast media files. Feeder can publish feeds and associated files via FTP, SFTP, WebDAV and Amazon S3 and announce updates on Twitter and Facebook.

Feeder 3.0 has been designed and updated for OS X Yosemite, including new toolbar buttons and icons though the app, a hide-able translucent sidebar, new preview style, plus thumbnails and preview lines in the list. When editing, items can be written in Markdown, which will be converted to HTML in the feed. Feeder’s editing window now autosave and the app can restore its state, so windows open when the app was last quit will reappear when opened again with all changes intact. Feeder can now also find and replace all links in a feed, and show Quick Look previews for attached enclosure files.

It’s now possible to share Feeder’s library with cloud services such as iCloud Drive and Dropbox by placing the library folder in the appropriate location, thanks to a new library format – Feeder automatically updates as soon as it detects a change has been made. Feeds can be saved in a self-contained format that contains both the content and settings required to publish it, making it easy to send a feed to someone else without needing to help them set up publishing from scratch.

These are just some of the new features and improvements in Feeder 3.0. Full release notes are available on the Reinvented Software web site.
