Kulmbach, Germany – Quadranto, formerly known as Eisenpower, is based on the Eisenhower Principle, a method for organizing tasks by importance and urgency. This structure goes back to Dwight D. Eisenhower, who came up with the idea that every single task can be qualified by the criteria important/ not important and urgent/ not urgent. Based on this concept Quadranto provides a 4-quadrant structure for organizing to-dos.

On the basis of customers’ feedback a new user interface is introduced that allows the user to switch projects more quickly, change quadrant titles in place and move tasks between projects more efficiently. This is possible due to the new sidebar and the so called “quadrant chooser” that comes in handy when moving tasks to other projects. It helps you choosing a destination quadrant when using drag & drop. Furthermore there are new options for emphasizing due tasks: Badges in the sidebar and in the Dock icon help the user to notice unfinished tasks and missed deadlines are now highlighted.

Nonetheless Quadranto continues to use established features like iCloud syncing, Reminders integration, Auto Import of tasks from iOS, printing, etc.

At the end of October the Mac version will team up with an iPhone app that will be released on the App Store. Due to iCloud integration the user will then be able to add and edit his tasks and projects on the go.
