Radiant Radio allows anyone to search, discover, and stream the Internet feeds of over 30,000 radio stations from around the globe, via their Apple TV. The app includes the ability to search for stations by genre, country of origin, and more. Listeners can mark favorite stations for later access, and listen to a station while browsing other apps on the Apple TV.
Radiant Radio offers owners of the new fourth-generation Apple TV the ability to search for their favorite types of entertainment and information from over 30,000 worldwide radio stations. Users can simply browse through the the stations sampling stations at will, or search for stations according to their tastes in music, sports, news or other information sources.
“As soon as the Apple TV was introduced, we knew it would revolutionize the way people approached entertainment in their homes,” says Thumb Wizards founder Mark Perkins. “Knowing that owners of the new device would want to listen to all types of streaming entertainment content, we decided to develop a convenient way for users to listen to their favorite Internet radio stations, as well as discover new ones. That’s when Radiant Radio was born.”
Discovery is only part of the Radiant Radio experience. Once a favorite radio station is found, it can be marked as a favorite, allowing easy access at any time. Listeners can also select a station, and then continue to listen to it in the background while browsing and exploring the other apps on their favorite streaming entertainment device. The app’s attractive interface offers album art, and information about the content itself, as well as the radio station it is playing on. On the view screen, users can conveniently pause the content, mark it as a favorite, or quickly set a sleep timer.
