Dublin, Ireland – Ireland’s most influential vlogger Cian Twomey has partnered with hot Dublin startup Emojitones to test the worlds-first text-messaging platform with sound. In YouTube comedy sensation Twomey’s new video, he challenges ever-patient girlfriend Emily to a game of “name that Emojitone,” naming the emoji messages by sound only, with hilarious results.
The fun, easy-to-use Emojitones app for iOS and Android assigns almost all standard emoji icons with an appropriate “emojitone” that play automatically when messages are opened. For the first time, the beloved icons now have a voice, enabling new levels of self-expression as users exchange messages personalized with hilarious or heartfelt sounds.
Now, Ireland’s emoji fans can join in on the Emojitones Challenge. Simply post a short response video to any of our social media platforms listed below with hashtag #EmojitonesChallenge. In your video show that you have downloaded the Emojitones app, play your favourite emojitone in the video first and then most importantly perform a personal impression of your favorite emojitone. The user who submits the most creative video featuring the app to the Emojitone Facebook page will be awarded 500 Euro. Contest closes on July 3rd, 2106.
