New York, New York and Trollhattan, Sweden – Trilo Spelling 1.0 was developed in cooperation with US elementary school teachers and students to ensure the app is an engaging and effective educational tool for kids. Trilo Spelling is great for long car rides, after-dinner games, summer enhancement activities, in-classroom learning, and any other time your child wants to play! The levels were designed with early readers/spellers in mind and the phonics sequence includes short vowels, consonant digraphs, FLoSS rule, and beginning and ending consonant blends.
Elementary school teachers with decades of experience instructing at phonics-based schools (Orton-Gillingham, early literacy support specialties) have been the primary resources for the app’s development. Trilo’s American team is continuing to work with elementary educators in the US, and plans to launch a series of free releases of Trilo Spelling to a select number of elementary schools around the country.
Trilo Spelling was developed by Trilo Interactive AB, an education app development company based in Sweden. The Swedish edition of Trilo Spelling – Fun With Duffton – is one of the best-selling elementary education apps in Sweden’s history. Trilo’s mission is to use apps and educational technology to creatively engage children and foster their love of learning during their most formative years of schooling.

Trilo Spelling 1.0 is now available for $4.99 (USD) in the US and is priced accordingly in other markets. The free version of Trilo Spelling includes two games of play at one level and is intended to help parents and educators determine if the full version is the right app for their kids. There is also an Android version available on Google Play.
