Vancouver, Canada – Independent game developer, Jeffrey Yim today is proud to announce the release and immediate availability of the “Powers Update” to “Hack the System,” the most intuitive hacking game on iOS devices. Become the ultimate hacker and infiltrate the deepest computer systems. Capture security nodes and bypass firewalls with the tap of your finger.

New in this version are devastating hacker powers. Open data chests to unlock powers and drill down into the deepest systems. Destroy firewalls with Nuclear Breach, or rupture firewalls from the inside out with Infect. Activate Kinetic Charge and capture nodes with immense force, destroying additional firewalls. The choice is yours.

Change your loadout and equip up to 6 powers at a time. No system stands a chance.

Your reflexes and timing will be tested as you’ll need to tap perfectly to capture all security nodes to hack each system. But keep on your toes as no two systems are ever the same. The game adapts to your skill level and generates new systems the deeper you go. The further you hack, the more difficult the systems become.

Race against time as each system will be locked down if you take too long to hack it. Security nodes will put up a fight with multiple levels of firewalls. Avoid firewalls at all cost, one touch and you’re toast. Firewalls adapt to your skill level, changing rotation and configuration to thwart your hack. You’re not the only one fighting to be the ultimate hacker. Compete online with global leaderboards to see who has hacked into the deepest system. How many systems can you hack? How far does the system go?
