Cambridge, Canada – Upsilon Dynamics Inc. today is proud to release version 1.2 of their new Zombie Shooter, Zombie Wall Attack. In Zombie Wall Attack, your objective is to fight off countless and ruthless waves of zombie attackers. The concept is simple, prevent as many zombies as possible from hopping over a wall and entering your compound – if more than 20 zombies manage to jump pass, you lose. The objective is to get through as many waves as possible with the highest score possible.

“It’s been pretty well known that zombies have taken the world by storm quite figuratively. Everywhere we look, we see a new zombie movie, game or zombie-related product being released. It just made common sense as a small game studio to focus on what people find fun, enjoyable and hip.” say’s Matt Drouillard, lead developer and owner of up start Upsilon Dynamics Inc.

But what is most peculiar about this game is not how it is themed around zombies, but how the idea began. “When we first built this game, it was called Trump Wall Defense. Which was actually an idea I had as my first app, it was meant to target Donald Trump’s claims regarding a wall in Mexico and poke fun at it. We built the game, it was jam packed with Trump quotes regarding the proposed Mexico-US border wall. So I began immediately developing the game, the bad guys were drug dealers, rapists and criminals. We thought it was funny, and the game was quite good as well – each wave the user would hear a new funny trump quote. Unfortunately, Apple did not agree and therefore it was rejected. You can still find that game on Google Play under Trump Wall Defense but you won’t find it anywhere in the Apple store” says Mr. Drouillard.

As a reaction to the rejection from Apple, Upsilon Dynamics quickly came up with a new theme that was well suited – Zombies. Zombie themed games are nothing new, doing a simple search on the app-store for “Zombie” will yield thousands of results but Mr. Drouillard believes that Zombie Wall Attack has what it takes to entrench users in a new and exciting zombie killing experience. “We’ve incorporated a professionally produced sound track, graphics and game play. The moment the user is presented with the main menu he or she is immediately drawn into a creepy and dark world, spending hundreds of hours developing this I was beginning to get creeped out myself listening to the sound track and sound FX in this game. It really pulls you into a dark world of zombies, it really works.”

Zombie Wall Attack offers an unlimited number of waves, in which the user must use up to 6 different weapons all with different levels to damage, speed and abilities to kill as many zombies as possible. Some of the weapons include cannons and missiles, as well as futuristic weapons like laser guns, nukes and impulse rockets. It is sure to keep any user engaged and thrilled as they fight off hoards of zombies.

“We took a few different concepts from other games and incorporated them into our game. Tower defense games for example are wildly popular – one of my all time favorites Field Runners has a similar concept, if so many bad guys get past you lose – the same concept was incorporated into Zombie Wall Attack and I think it will do well with customers. We were sad that Trump Wall Defense was rejected, but we feel this new incarnation using the same core game logic will do well with customers.”
