Stuttgart, Germany – A little more than one year after the original Ambify was released for iOS, Ambify for Mac attempts to take Hue based music visualisation to the next level.
Ambify for Mac does what it’s predecessor couldn’t, which is, to integrate with popular streaming services like Spotify, Rdio or iTunesMatch.
When activated, Ambify captures live audio and applies specially developed algorithms to analyze and visualize audio in real time, using either Philips Hue bulbs, lamps and lightstrips, or when connected via Hue also Living Colors and Living Whites lamps.
Taking this idea even further, Ambify can turn any Mac into a fully featured AirPlay receiver allowing it to process audio from any AirPlay capable device such as iPhone or iPad.
What’s more, Ambify for Mac supports timing sensitive applications such as music videos, DJ or production tools and also comes with a classic, graphic-driven visualizer that seamlessly integrates with Hue based effects.
Simply put, Ambify for Mac is a universal and simple to use visualiser made for everyone who has Hue.
