Hsinchu, Taiwan – Wenjoy Technologies has released Asking 1.2.0, an app service for mobile survey on iOS devices. Understanding the views of customers is absolutely an important thing no matter what industry you are in. Of all the means, questionnaire is the most effective and direct way to get customer feedback. However, the cost of commissioned market research is not affordable by small businesses or SOHO workers. There are lots of inconveniences in using traditional questionnaires – for example, handing out questionnaires to customers, collecting answered questionnaires or manually filing and doing statistics. These can all be reasons for low response rate or failure to obtain the real opinion of customers.

As a matter of fact, if the questionnaire is not complex and the way to answer is simple enough, customers are usually willing to spend some time to help. There should be a better way to solve this problem when mobile phones already have entered the cloud era today. Asking, the new questionnaire platform Wenjoy recently launched provides such a solution. Although there are other online questionnaire services on the market today, most of them are web-based, and using them on the small screens of mobile phones is relatively inconvenient.

Asking is an online questionnaire service completely designed for mobile platforms. It can be used to create all kinds of questionnaires more easily and directly on mobile phones or tablets. Not only does it increase mobility, the real-time survey results can also be viewed anytime. Through Asking’s intelligent questionnaire analysis system in the cloud, more can be revealed about customers’ issues and needs.

Asking provides many basic question types commonly used by questionnaires, such as multiple choice question with single answer, multiple choice question with multiple answers, free-text-input question, drop-down menu, measurement scale question and identity question. Image and video can be inserted into the questions. If the text contains an URL, the system will automatically retrieve it and turn it into a clickable link. To distribute the questionnaire, simply pass the link of the questionnaire to a surveyed party through WhatsApp, Facebook Messenger, Line, WeChat, SMS, or email. The questionnaire can be answered on any platform or system.

Ease of answering definitely translates into high response ratio. Asking also provides the capability to convert questionnaire link to QR code, so it can be printed out for even more alterative usages. Viewing the results of the survey is also another major feature of Asking – in addition to clearly identifying the system of the respondents, the statistics of the answers are computed in the clouds, and the results are shown in statistical charts in the terminal.

The entire process is completely free from doing statistics manually, and is updated in real-time. Moreover, if it is desired to collect more samples from outside of the circle of friends, Asking also provides a public market research area, which can host user-produced questionnaires. A user can set the number of surveys to collect and pay accordingly. Other users can come to this area to answer the questionnaire and earn cash points.

Wenjoy has been providing all sorts of innovative solutions in the mobile platform. This time, the brand new service is launched in iOS version first. Currently, members of the free version can use most of the functions, while the fee-based members of the professional Edition and the Elite Edition can have access to more advanced features.
