Coeur d’Alene, Idaho – DEVONtechnologies, LLC today updates its smart desktop assistant DEVONsphere Express with performance improvements and fixes for OS X Yosemite. PhotoStickies 5.6.7 and XMenu 1.9.8 bring Yosemite adjustment and bug fixes, too. The updates are free and recommended for all users.

DEVONsphere Express provides users with relevant data while they’re working on their Mac. Version 1.8 adds support for Finder and Open Meta tags, Scapple files, and diagnostic reports. It also uses Open Graph properties of HTML pages and web pages to provide more accurate results. On OS X Mavericks and later version 1.8 indexes email messages again. The update also reduces DEVONsphere Express’ CPU usage and improves its performance and reliability.

PhotoStickies shows photos and web cams on the desktop. XMenu lets the user access documents, apps, and text snippets from the menu bar. Both new versions bring necessary changes for OS X Yosemite.
