Warsaw, Poland – Bloxy Sp. Z o.o. today is proud to announce its new Bloxy World app which is available for iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad on the App Store. Aimed primarily at children aged 6 to 11, Bloxy gives complete creative freedom in its 3D World, stimulates imagination and promotes intellectual curiosity in children. Children can build using over 250 bricks of a wide range of styles, colours and textures, supplemented by mini figures, animals, special items and themes.
Children can also follow instructions to build pre-designed models that can serve as a playground or a stepping stone for further creations. Every unique project can be shared on a creative web & and mobile community site: Bloxy World. It allows kids to view and download other users’ projects directly into their app and even to re-build these again themselves.
The company which was only founded in 2012, has recently been boosted by a $250,000 investment from Michal Branski, a co-founder of Grupa o2, Poland’s leading media group. While the investment is striving to bring popular children’s characters into its mobile app, the company is right now in the process of looking for licensing and intellectual property partners. Bloxy plans to launch a 3D printing facility which is aimed to be released in the second quarter of 2014.
