Addison, Texas – Today, Bxtel LLC, maker of healthcare mobile apps, announced the release of its tinnitus treatment app, Serene Ears. Tinnitus is most often an annoying ringing sensation that affects the hearing of up to 80% of all adults. Serene Ears soothes tinnitus with masking therapy, using sounds to gently drown out the tinnitus.

Serene Ears gives users 10 different sounds to choose from, including white noise and pink noise. The app is very easy to use and can be used anywhere. Compared to other white noise generators on the market, Serene Ears provides tremendous value, as the competitors are expensive and not upgradeable. Serene Ears will add new sounds and features for free that will give the user more treatment options.

Bxtel makes other apps that treat tinnitus, including Nix Tinnitus Amp, a product that combines a low-cost hearing aid with a white-noise generator as well as providing notched-sound therapy which works by identifying the pitch the tinnitus is perceived as and then removing that pitch from what the user hears.
