San Francisco, California – Building on the success of Drawp, the popular art app for kids, MoonDrop Entertainment today released Drawp for School, an iPad app that offers all the innovative creativity tools of the original Drawp, with the addition of intuitive workflow management that saves teachers valuable classroom time. Drawp can be used with all subjects, and lets teachers distribute and collect work as easily as with paper worksheets while automatically storing them in the private Drawp cloud.

Drawp’s SimpleShare(TM) technology allows students and teachers to simply swipe and share work with each other. Teachers seamlessly assign, distribute and collect assignments, which the app automatically organizes by class, student and project. Students have pre-approved accounts that can be accessed from personal or shared iPads in class and at home. Drawp is designed to help align lessons with Common Core State Standards.

Ana Albir, Moondrop CEO, notes: “Digital content creation has many benefits, but can add extra work for teachers. Drawp solves this problem by not only offering seamless management, but also making it easy for teachers to implement digital technology in their classrooms. It’s not a matter of adopting difficult new technology, but of making what teachers already do easier, faster, and more efficient.”

Enhanced Digital Paper:
Drawp’s innovative whiteboard interface is a collage tool with the enhanced features of audio, painting and photos. Professional-grade drawing software, with over 200 paints and unique graphic textures, make it an indispensable tool for art classes, but it is also specifically designed for use in all classroom subjects. Number pages assist in math classes. For science, students can write or draw on charts and diagrams. Voice stickers record students’ voices to assist with English and foreign language pronunciation.

Collaboration:
Using Drawp’s SimpleShare(TM) technology, students simply swipe to share their assignments. It’s even easier than handing over a sheet of paper. Collaboration enhances kids’ ability to create, and builds communication skills. Students can work in groups, individually, and one-to-one with teachers. Assignments don’t have to be downloaded as they’re automatically saved to the cloud. No email needed. The safe platform is controlled by the teacher.

Eases Teacher Workload:
Drawp helps teachers do what they are already doing while making it easier and faster with automatic workflow management. As assignments are automatically distributed, collected, sorted and stored, teachers are free to enjoy the creative advantages of digital content, without the time-consuming tasks of managing it. Drawp also allows personal text or audio notes and feedback from teachers to students or parents. Teachers can import class lists using Excel by going to the www.drawpforschool.com website. Drawp For School is designed to facilitate Common Core adherence, and includes Common Core alignment tips.
