Cloudit was formed by a small team of new-grad Engineers from the Greater Toronto Area. An idea of having a micro-blogging platform with a stunning 3D globe as its canvas gripped us so firmly that we did not stop until the product was not only finished, but was also smooth, easy, and great to use and look at. Six months of in-house development and a great beta team allowed us to do this. Deviating from the common usage of location technology in social media apps (check-in and venue discovery) we had a mission to create a location based app that showcased the user’s content as best and beautifully as possible.
