Canberra, Australia – Independent developer Darren Hitchman today is pleased to announce the release and immediate availability of Witch Way 1.0, his new casual arcade game for iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch devices. Riding on their broom as the witch, Witch Way challenges players to collect the magic pumpkins hidden in the gold rings before the timer runs out.

There are 3 different worlds that the player must explore in Witch Way. Flying through narrow canyons, spooky forests, and dark caves, each world contains 10 challenging levels that must be conquered. Within each level, the witch has to dodge electricity fields, castles firing flaming cannon balls, and scary ghosts chasing her. If the witch comes in contact with any of these items, the game is over. However, the player can collect potions that will shield the witch from these threats. There are also additional potions that will increase the time limit, potions that will help her shrink to fit into small tunnels, and keys to unlock gates she must pass through.

Feature Highlights:
* Comfortable and simple User Interface
* 3 different worlds to explore
* 30 challenging levels
* Easy-to-navigate controls
* Earn special shields, time bonus potions, and more
* Avoid flaming cannon balls, electricity fields, and scary ghosts
* Kid-friendly version available with no ads, no in-app purchases, and no links to social media
* Game Center-supported

To achieve a higher score in Witch Way, players can collect the witch hats for bonus points as they navigate the level and try to achieve Gold Ring status. After the conclusion of each level, the player is awarded a Bronze, Silver, or Gold Ring status. To achieve the Gold Ring status, the player must determine the best way to fly through the course. Witch Way is Game Center-supported so players can challenge their friends and post high scores.

There are two versions of Witch Way available. The free version of Witch Way includes ads, in-app purchases, and the ability to share high scores on social media like Twitter and Facebook. Witch Way is also Game Center-supported so players can issue challenges and compete with their friends. Both versions allow you to fly with the guidance of a cloned witch from your best score.

The paid version of Witch Way is designed especially for kids and contains no ads or no in-app purchases. Facebook and Twitter are also disabled. If the player has a Game Center account, they can issue challenges and compete with their friends like in the free version. However, in the kid-friendly version of Witch Way, there is no prompt for Game Center challenges when a high score is obtained.

“Take the challenge of Witch Way and collect all the magic pumpkins as you fly through the air as a witch on her broomstick,” says independent developer Darren Hitchman. “Suitable for adults or children, Witch Way is a fun, casual game I created that features easy-to-navigate controls and challenging obstacles.
