Glasgow, United Kingdom – Polwarth Medical is proud to release Cranial Ultrasound for iPhone and Android, a fun and educational quiz app that helps medical professionals (specifically paediatricians and neonatologists) brush up on their neonatal cranial ultrasound interpretation skills. With over 50 real clinical cases and over 250 high-quality images, the app tests the user’s skills at identifying a huge range of cases.
Common and rarer pathologies are all covered, including germinal matrix intraventricular haemorrhage, hydrocephalus, periventricular leukoencephalopathy, mineralising vasculopathy, meningitis and neonatal stroke. The app also includes a detailed tutorial to introduce the user to cranial ultrasounds before they begin tackling the cases. Users can post scores to social media, share interesting cases with friends and colleagues and even bookmark ultrasounds to return to them later. All of this, combined with its clean, professional design makes for an incredibly easy-to-use and fun quiz app.
