Arlington, Texas – Independent developer Kesi Maduka today is proud to announce the release and availability of Music+ 2.0, an update to his popular music app for iPhone and iPod touch devices. Music+ is a basic music player app with a wide variety of features that enhance the user’s listening experience.
With a redesigned interface for iOS 7, Music+ strives to incorporate many visually-appealing elements in its viewer. Users can scroll through their songs by viewing the album’s artwork. In the event that a song does not have album artwork designated, users can download artwork from Last FM’s high-resolution images that are available through Music+. There is also a visualizer within the main player interface that allows displays the current song’s output volume. Music+’s interface can be customized with a choice of accent colors. The color chosen is shown throughout the app, highlighting the player, the visualizer and volume control.

A major feature of Music+ is its ability to sync with the user’s current music library and import downloads and playlists. Users can edit the song info directly into the app without modifying it anywhere else on the iDevice. The Downloader feature allows users to specify a URL where they can browse and download audio. There is also an audio searcher that pulls audio links and allows users to search through and download songs quickly and easily. With an internet connection, Music+ provides access to over 10,000 local and internet radio for constant streaming.
Music+ also provides options to users when listening to their music. To change the order in which songs play, users can manage their Up Next queue by swiping the song and placing it in the desired order. There is also a Crossfade setting to provide seamless listening between songs. In Settings, users can set the crossfade, its duration, and when the crossfade will take place. Crossfade time intervals range from 5 seconds to 45 seconds.
One of the new features in Version 2.0 is the addition of an Equalizer. Users can now modify the bass, treble, and mid range of a song. There is also the ability to save Equalizer settings as a preset list that the user can apply to any song in their imported library.
In addition to the new Equalizer, Version 2.0 has made significant improvements to provide users with more autonomy. Music+ now allows users to trim songs, automatically find lyrics, and manually reload their music library. There is also a better color selection utility and added documentation to support users.
