Longwood, Florida – Independent developer, David Likosar, today is pleased to announce the release and immediate availability of Direct Remote 1.8, an update to his popular remote control utility for iOS devices. Direct Remote offers a new way to control DirecTV receivers connected to your home network. The app features quick tuning using up to 65 favorite channels and allows control of your receiver using intuitive gestures or a more traditional touch control. The 1.8 release adds support for the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus.
