It has been updated to version 2.0 and is in fact now the only real live played (and purpose recorded for IOS) drum loops and fills library released in Apple Loops format, making it possible for Garageband users to copy/paste any loop or fill into GB and changing the tempo as they wish. The loops will maintain their sound quality and feel and it will feel like having a live studio drummer at your fingertips!
And of course all users of other digital audio workstation on IOS keep all functionality to copy and paste wav files to their fav daw. Furthermore, Inter App Audio support is now built in, Audiobus has been updated to the last version, the app has a completely new design and is optimized for IOS 8 (IOS 7 also supported).

Where most other apps offer only programmed drum sounds, Drum Loops HD gives users more than 1000 drum loops, fills, samples, crashes, and ending drum fills, all played for real and recorded by Hans Eijkenaar, Holland’s first call session drummer, at Sound Vision Studios in Arnhem. Drum Loops HD has been tested with (a.o.) Garageband, Music Studio, Auria, Multitrack DAW, Cubasis and works on any iPad, iPhone or iPod touch with IOS 7 and upwards.
Drum loops HD was recorded in and mixed to 2 distinct different sounds, a Modern setting (close miking plus room mics) and a Vintage setting (array of 5 old school mics, a.o. RCA Victors around the set). The performances on both sound choices are identical allowing you to be creative when mixing sounds or by using different sounds for different sections of your song.
It is also the ultimate play along drummer for any musician and considering the vast amount of jazz loops on board, a great study partner for any upright bass player, just to give an example. Many music school and private teachers have let the producers know that that they let their students play along with Drum Loops HD, making the experience for students much more real and making them perform better plus encouraging students to study more!

All tracks are automatically looped within the app, and cut into 2 or 4 bar loops (instead of the usual 1 bar loop approach) giving a much more ‘played live’ feel and getting rid of the ‘repetition effect.’ Drum loops HD allows the user to mix and match to achieve distinctly different sounds for intros, verses, choruses and endings and with the Apple Loops format users can mix and match any loop from any style in any tempo in Garageband. Even stacking half time and double time loops on top of each other can lead to great creative results.
