London, United Kingdom – Independent developer, Philip Page is proud to announce the release of DSS 1.0 (v1.3.3), an update to his popular Drum Syllabus Series for iPad. Designed for drummers of all ages and abilities, Drum Syllabus is able to be used by a teacher in both a one on one and classroom setting as well as the self taught student. Version 1.3.3 includes song breakdown updates with a few minor corrections.
DSS 1.0 is the first digital textbook from The Drum Syllabus Series. This iBook takes aspiring drummers right from the very beginning, through every aspect of learning the drums. DSS 1.0 includes many great features; fully interactive widgets containing full audios at two tempos, detailed descriptions of every exercise, suggested reading, viewing and listening, song breakdowns and much much more. DSS 1.0 is a must for anybody looking to learn the drums.
“I love the thrill of seeing someone progress on the drums and watching them develop as a musician,” explained the book’s creator, Philip Page. “I created the Drum Syllabus Series to help as many students as possible to achieve just that. As I develop both as a musician and as a teacher so does each instalment of the syllabus. My hope is that students can use the Drum Syllabus series not only to further their musical and technical skill but also to give them all the tools they need to express themselves on the drums.”
