Paris, France – Deadpan Dodo Art Factory has released a major update for the mobile game Famous Athletes PopArt Quiz, a free trivia game, where the aim is to guess the names of the sportsmen in the drawings, after they received a complete makeover. The game is available on Google Play, Apple App Store and Amazon App Store, for all iOS and Android devices, including the Kindle family.

“After the first version of Famous Athletes PopArt Quiz proved very successful, we decided to update the game to offer even more content and an overall better look, and finally port it to the Amazon appStore,” said one of the creators.

The game offers a wide range of the most well-known athletes of football, tennis, soccer, basketball, boxing, swimming, golf. The player has to guess the name with a given set of letters. There is a total of 7 levels in this version, ranging from easy to difficult, two tips (athlete’s nationality and sport) and a letter-by-letter button to help the user if needed.

“When we first came up with the idea of Famous Athletes PopArt Quiz, we knew it would demand gamers to have a vast cultural knowledge in sports, but the challenge of this game is what sets it apart from other guessing games available: Simple concept and gameplay with deep content. It was with those requirements in mind that we decided to do a game that everyone could enjoy.” commented the CEO of Deadpan Dodo.

Famous Athletes PopArt Quiz was designed and created using HybriD*, Deadpan Dodo’s proprietary game engine, based on the lua SDK Corona from CoronaLabs. HybriD* supports all iOS devices, all Android devices, as well as all Kindle readers.
